The Haunted Aldrich Farm House
Historic
Aldrich Farm House
The Aldrich Farm House was built just after the turn of the century by Mr.
Henry A. Aldrich, a wealthy landowner, lumber baron, orchardman (an apple farmer) and much more. In 1867, Mr. Aldridge purchased 43 acres south of Neoga. This home was built later (1900 -1910). On the site, Mr. Aldrich wanted to build an impressive home to convey his elite social standing and affluence. To do so, he chose a 3-story Victorian home, built in the Colonial Renaissance style, designed by the famous architect Mr. George F. Barber. Since its construction, it has always stood out among the homes of Neoga, Illinois.
Hushed stories of strange goings-on have fascinated the locals for years, but the various owners of the home have kept silent . . . until now.
